Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool/Pre-K Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field with some college credits in education.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences for preschool-aged children
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime and naptime
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is required
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Understanding of literacy education for young learners
- Experience working with students with special needs or providing early intervention services is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
